In Westafrika hat die traditionelle Gesellschaft keinen Platz für Men- schen
mit psychischen Erkrankungen und Epilepsie. Dämonen werden als Ursache für ihre Krankheiten gesehen, die als ansteckend gelten.
Sie leben am Rande der Dörfer, in Gebetszentren oder wandern unbemerkt herum. Pastor Tankpari Guitanga hat beschlossen, diesen
Menschen zu helfen und hat die lokale Hilfsorganisation Yenfaabima gegründet, deren revolutionäre Arbeit gerade erst beginnt.

In West Africa, traditional society has
no space for people with mental illness and epilepsy. Demons are seen as the cause for their diseases which are considered
contagious. They live on the outskirts of the villages, in prayer centers, or wander around unnoticed. Pastor Tankpari Guitanga
has decided to help these people and has founded the local aid organisation Yenfaabima, whose revolutionary work is still
just starting.
