Filmed over four years in cinema vérité style, the documentary showcases Canadian women farmers and land stewards who are reimagining agriculture by resisting industrial systems and reviving traditional, ecologically rooted practices. From rural homesteads to urban community farms across Western Canada, these women are sowing seeds of resilience in the face of climate change, corporate agriculture, and biodiversity loss. Their stories weave together hope, grief, joy, and perseverance in the fight for food sovereignty.
